A “Pen” that might detect cancer

There is now a hand-held device that might help surgeons determine malignant from healthy tissues when operating. It is called the MasSpec Pen. It has now completed initial research. It may be available on the market next year. I am told that is an extensive procedure. But then it might help surgeon determine whether or not margins during cancer surgery are adequate.
